NHS England Survey – NHS App Medicine Readiness Alerts
NHS England survey on NHS App medicine readiness alerts
NHS England is seeking feedback on how community pharmacy teams use prescription tracking and NHS App notification services (NPPTS).
The new survey which launched this week, aims to better understand:
- what encourages or prevents adoption;
- how the services fit into pharmacy workflows;
- the impact on patient communications;
- how the services can better support pharmacy teams; and
- where improvements could be made.
The survey is designed to be light-touch and consists mainly of closed questions.
It is particularly important that NHS England hears from both pharmacies that have implemented these services and those that have chosen not to use them at present. Understanding both experiences will help inform future development and support arrangements.
As the NHS increasingly looks to improve the digital patient experience, it is important that community pharmacy perspectives help shape future developments. Feedback from both users and non-users of these services will help ensure future improvements reflect the realities of pharmacy practice, patient care, and day-to-day pharmacy workflows.
