Mandatory National Health Campaigns for 2026/27

Community pharmacies will take part in two national health campaigns and two locally agreed campaigns as part of the CPCF 2026/27 requirements.

National Campaign 1: Respect for Pharmacy Staff

5–25 October 2026 This campaign highlights the growing issue of violence and abuse in community pharmacy and reinforces the expectation that staff are treated with respect so they can provide safe, professional care. Pharmacies may use materials produced by NHS England or Community Pharmacy England.

National Campaign 2: Promoting Pharmacy First

1–21 February 2027 This campaign encourages the public to use the Pharmacy First service. Digital assets are available via the DHSC Campaign Resource Centre, and pharmacies may use existing promotional materials.

Meeting the Campaign Requirements

Pharmacy owners can fulfil campaign obligations by sharing campaign messages with the public during the relevant dates. This may include:

  • Displaying campaign materials such as posters or leaflets in the pharmacy
  • Adding information to your website
  • Posting updates on social media
  • Including messages in patient communications such as emails or SMS
