Make the most of the CPA website

Hello, this blog post comes to you from support team member, Susan. I’m responsible for the development and maintenance of the CPA website.

I thought I’d give you some pointers to help you navigate and make the most of our online presence.  As you can see, our blog has a brand new format, thanks to CPE adding this functionality to the template.  Due to this development, we have retired the previous blog and started afresh. The previous blog posts have been archived on this page for future reference.

I trust you will find our website quite easy to navigate through the main menu, where you can see information about the LPC, local and national pharmacy services and various resources. Rather than reproducing the content on CPE and various other platforms – where possible – we will link to the relevant pages instead. I always try to set the external links if possible, so they open in a new tab – I think this makes it easier for you to find your way back to the starting point.  If you end up with too many open tabs, just close the ones you don’t need any more. Please keep in mind that this website template is optimised for browsing on a desktop computer. You can still access  most pages on a mobile device, but there could be some limitations to your user experience.

I hope you will find all the information on our website useful, but I’d like to highlight some areas which could be particularly helpful:

• the footer, which appears at the bottom of all pages includes our contact details, links to the most frequently requested information and useful links, like CPE’s payment timetable, webinars, briefings, and other external links
• we have a separate page where all the MailChimp updates from CPE are listed, for quick reference – you can access it here. I try to keep this up-to-date on a weekly basis.
• you can also find copies of our own bi-weekly newsletters here
• our A-Z Contacts page includes contact information for various stakeholders and organisations
• the carousel/slider at the top of the home page shows some of the highlighted news  items with links to relevant internal or external pages
• you can find printable PDF copies of the Pharmacy Services Pack that we have recently posted out to pharmacies on this page.
